The setup size of 64-Bit version is smaller than the 32-Bit one because it does not contain some files related to internet (chat, broadcasting, TVPot.) and realmedia codecs. If PotPlayer's built-in codecs are enough for you, then its 64-Bit version can be useful while using some features that require much more cpu/ram usage such as thumbnail previews, 3D, 10-Bit playback, etc.īut you can use both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of PotPlayer at the same time without causing any system confusion under 64-Bit Windows. The only difference between Official and English installers is that official installer contains the directx files (D3DCompiler_43.dll,d3dx9_43.dll)Įnglish Installer checks those necessary files during installation and prompts you to install the DirectX Runtime package when if they not installed on the system.
